Features describe what your product does. Benefits explain how those features help users. Successful product communication, marketing, and onboarding emphasize benefits over raw functionality.

PMs must ensure user-facing content connects features to outcomes. Saying “1-click export” is a feature; saying “save time with one-click reports” is a benefit. The “so what?” test helps highlight user value behind each capability.
