interviewhood is a comprehensive platform that connects job seekers with expert mentors and career coaches. As an expert, you can offer 1:1 coaching sessions, conduct masterclasses, and provide career guidance while building your personal brand.

Can I conduct paid sessions?

Yes! You can set your own rates for 1:1 sessions, masterclasses, and other services.

How much can I charge for my sessions?

You have complete control over your pricing. Most experts charge between $50-$300 per session depending on their expertise and experience. You can adjust your rates at any time.

How do the payments work?

Payments are processed securely through our platform. You receive your payment net of our commission, and payments are transferred to your account on a monthly basis.

Who can join as an expert?

Anyone with professional experience in career coaching, mentoring, or a specific domain can join. Whether you're early in your career (0–2 years) or an executive with 15+ years, there are seekers looking for guidance at every level. You choose your expertise areas and the types of services you offer.

What types of services can I offer?

You can offer 1:1 coaching sessions, mock interviews, resume reviews, skill-based mentorship, career discovery sessions, leadership coaching, and more. You can also host masterclasses or webinars. The platform supports multiple service categories so you can match your expertise to what seekers need.

How do seekers find me?

Seekers discover experts through our explore-services page, where they can filter by category, experience level, and topic. Building a clear profile with your background, services, and rates helps you show up in relevant searches. You can also share your expert profile link on LinkedIn or your website.

Can I do this alongside my full-time job?

Yes. Many experts use interviewhood as a side income. You set your own availability and how many sessions you can take per week. There’s no minimum commitment. you can start with a few hours a month and scale up when it suits you.

Is there a fee to join or list my services?

It’s free to join and create your expert profile. We take a commission only when you earn from completed sessions. There are no upfront or monthly listing fees, so you can start without any cost.

How are sessions conducted?

Sessions are typically conducted over video call through Zoom or any other video platform of your choice. You and the seeker agree on the format when they book. You can offer 30- or 60-minute sessions (or custom durations) and use your preferred tools for screen share or materials.

How do I set my availability?

You need to add your Calendly link in the profile section. Your customers will see Calendly widget post booking and book a time on your calendar. You control your own calendar via Calendly. Seekers can book only within your published availability, so you decide when you're open for sessions.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule a session?

Get in touch with us on hello@producthood.com mentioning your booking ID and the reason for cancellation.

Do I need to sign a contract?

When you join as an expert, you agree to our terms of service and expert guidelines. There’s no contract and you can pause or stop offering services anytime. Your existing bookings will be honoured. You just won’t accept new ones until you’re ready.

How do I build a strong expert profile?

Add a clear headline, bio, and photo. List your experience level, domains (e.g. product, engineering, design), and the services you offer with short descriptions. The more specific you are, the easier it is for seekers to find you. You can also add a link to your LinkedIn or website.

Can I offer sessions in multiple categories?

Yes. You can list services under multiple categories—for example, Interview Preparation, Skill-Based Mentorship, and Career Discovery. Choose the categories that match your expertise so seekers can find you for the right type of help.
