Exp. Engineer - Test Development NPI (Software)

Location: Sanand, Gujarat, India

Department: Test Development Engineering (NPI)

Role Overview

Responsible for development, debugging, and optimization of ATE test programs to support new product introduction and ensure production readiness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and debug test programs on ATE platforms (V93000, J750, etc.)
  • Support NPI builds, validation, and correlation at OSAT sites
  • Optimize test programs for yield, coverage, and test time reduction
  • Perform failure analysis and debug test-related issues
  • Collaborate with design, product, and manufacturing teams
  • Prepare documentation and support production handover
Qualification & Experience
  • BE in Electrical / Electronics or related field
  • 37 years of experience in ATE test program development
Key Skills
  • ATE platforms (Advantest / Teradyne)
  • Programming (C/C++, Python, scripting)
  • Knowledge of test methodologies (parametric, functional, scan, BIST)
  • Strong debugging and analytical skills oin CG SEMI today
