Job Summary

We are hiring an Electrical & Software Service Engineer to handle electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, commissioning, and basic PLC/HMI software support for special purpose machines. The role focuses on ensuring high machine reliability, minimal downtime, and ISO 9001:2015 compliance in manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

o Perform preventive maintenance and breakdown support for control panels, motors, drives, sensors, and wiring systems.

o Troubleshoot electrical faults using multimeters, insulation testers, and diagnostic tools.

o Support PLC/HMI troubleshooting, including IO checking, signal monitoring, and sequence verification.

o Assist in machine commissioning, electrical calibration, and cycle validation at customer sites.

o Install, test, and configure components such as VFDs, servo drives, relays, contactors, safety devices, and sensors.

o Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring breakdowns and implement corrective actions.

o Support minor PLC logic changes and HMI screen updates as per requirement (basic level).

o Maintain service reports, backups, wiring diagrams, and documentation as per SOP and ISO 9001:2015 requirements.

o Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, PPE usage, EHS guidelines, and POSH policies.

Essential Skills

· Strong troubleshooting skills in control circuits and power systems.

· Working knowledge of:

• PLC fundamentals (monitoring, diagnostics, online troubleshooting)
• HMI basics (alarm diagnosis, screen navigation, parameter changes)
• VFDs / servo drives
• Industrial sensors and low-voltage wiring
• Electrical schematics and panel wiring standards

· Good documentation skills and basic MS Excel reporting.

· Good communication and coordination with customers and internal teams.

· Willingness to travel for service and commissioning activities.

· Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)

• Experience in special purpose machines / automation machines / assembly lines.
• Exposure to safety circuits (E-stop, interlocks, light curtain, safety relay).
• Hands-on experience with PLC brands like Siemens / Mitsubishi / Allen Bradley / B&R / Delta (any one).
• Experience in machine commissioning and troubleshooting at customer sites.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
