Position Overview

You will define how users experience, trust, and understand AI at national scale. You'll build design and research foundations that turn complex agentic AI into intuitive, human-centered products for millions of small businesses across India. This is a 0→1 opportunity to establish design principles and interaction patterns for a foundational AI platform operating across commerce, payments, and logistics. You'll have direct collaboration with senior leadership in shaping core product architecture and unprecedented access to infrastructure and distribution networks for national-scale impact.

Role & Responsibilities

• You own end-to-end product design strategy and UX vision for the foundational AI agent platform
• You lead comprehensive user research programs including usability testing and insight synthesis for SMB/MSME users
• You design AI interaction patterns focusing on explainability, trust, feedback mechanisms, and user controls
• You build and establish early design systems, quality standards, and design processes from ground up
• You partner deeply with Product and Engineering teams to translate complex AI capabilities into intuitive user experiences
• You define design principles for voice, language, and contextual AI interactions across physical and digital touchpoints
• You lead design decisions for autonomous AI workflows that handle commerce, payments, and logistics operations

Must Have Criteria

• 10-20 years of experience in Product Design, UX Design, or UX Research with leadership responsibilities
• Strong portfolio demonstrating 0→1 product ownership and foundational design system creation
• Experience designing products or platforms that serve millions of users at scale
• Experience designing B2B products for MSMEs, SMEs, or small business segments
• Deep expertise in user research methodologies including qualitative and quantitative research techniques
• Experience designing complex enterprise workflows or multi-step user journeys
• Proven track record of building and scaling design teams from early stages

Nice to Have

• Experience designing for AI-driven products or conversational interfaces
• Background in fintech, commerce, or logistics platform design
• Experience working with voice interfaces or multi-modal interaction design
• Previous experience in startup or 0→1 product environments at scale
• Understanding of small business workflows and pain points in emerging markets
