PURPOSE OF THE JOB
- Lead product and customer marketing strategies to strengthen market presence in gateway subjects.
- Drive growth through customer-centric initiatives that enhance product adoption and
engagement.
- Build and nurture strong institutional partnerships to support long-term business objectives.
- Combine strategic vision with executional rigor to deliver impactful marketing outcomes aligned with organizational goals.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES/ KEY RESULT AREAS
1. Product marketing strategy and execution
- Develop and implement a robust product marketing strategy with a clear customer value proposition.
- Drive initiatives to build market share in gateway subjects through differentiated positioning and compelling messaging.
2. Market analysis and portfolio strategy
- Lead segmentation, targeting, and positioning for the product portfolio.
- Conduct competitor analysis, market sizing, and growth planning.
- Identify need gaps in the existing portfolio using insights from market research and sales teams.
- Collaborate with the product development team to conceptualize and launch new products.
3. Customer segmentation and Go-To-Market (GTM)
- Design and implement institution segmentation models.
- Partner with sales teams to develop GTM strategies for retention, acquisition, and depth.
4. Marketing campaigns
- Plan and execute promotions and marketing activities for new product launches and customer engagement.
- Develop marketing and communication assets.
- Uphold editorial quality, brand consistency, and messaging clarity, ensuring all content resonates with customer needs and business objectives.
- Identify opportunities for thought leadership through participation in Principal Conclaves, and industry forums.
- Oversee on-ground execution of marketing initiatives.
5. Omni-channel outreach and partnerships
- Collaborate with product and communication teams to create integrated omni-channel marketing plans.
- Drive outreach programs and explore partnership opportunities with brands and strategic partners.
6. Strategy planning and leadership support
- Deliver actionable insights and strategic recommendations to the Managing Director and Business Heads.
- Develop high-impact strategy notes, presentations, and business review decks, including 5-Year Plans, quarterly updates, and key strategic projects.
- Enable cross-functional alignment across Sales, Product, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Compliance to accelerate business outcomes.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
- Preferred Postgraduate in marketing, management or related fields with good communication skills.
- Strong digital and data analytics skills.
- Ability to multi-task and handle a fast-paced work environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and with staff at remote locations.
- Strong problem-solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
