About the Role

We’re seeking a 'Lead Product Manager' to lead the strategy and delivery of iion’s Supply-Side Platform (SSP) alongside major capability upgrades to our Demand-Side Platform (DSP), including closing feature gaps, achieving market parity, and optimizing bidder performance. This strategic and hands-on role will collaborate closely with engineering, operations (supply & demand), data, and commercial teams to drive product vision, technical execution, and successful delivery.

You’ll be responsible for shaping product roadmaps, scoping complex integrations, validating technical hypotheses, and delivering high-impact programmatic products that support iion’s unified advertising ecosystem.

In addition to product leadership, this role includes managerial responsibilities, owning career mapping and professional growth for product team members - including Product Managers, QA engineers, and UX designers - to build a strong, high-performing product organization.

Role Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Execution
  • Lead product strategy and roadmap for SSP, DSP - aligned to iion’s vision of a unified gaming ad ecosystem
  • Define and prioritize product requirements, system architecture considerations, and integration points with internal and external partners
  • Collaborate with engineering to translate complex bidder, auction, and real-time systems into scalable product solutions
People Leadership & Team Development
  • Manage and mentor key product team members (Product Managers, QA, UX), including setting performance goals, enabling career growth, providing feedback and coaching, and helping shape professional development plans
  • Foster a collaborative and accountable culture within the product team and across cross-functional groups
Cross-Functional Partnership
  • Coordinate closely with Supply Ops, Demand Ops, Marketplace, Data, and Commercial teams to validate business priorities and ensure successful execution
  • Communicate product goals, specifications, and timelines to stakeholders across functions and time zones
Hands-On Solution Delivery
  • Lead scoping and technical proof-of-concepts (POCs) for integrations, programmatic channels, and data pipelines
  • Work with data engineers and analysts to define data models, metrics, dashboards, and telemetry that measure product performance
Technical & Programmatic Expertise
  • Drive product decisions grounded in deep expertise with real-time bidding (RTB) auction logic, OpenRTB protocol standards, and ad server integrations, ensuring best-in-class implementation of programmatic protocols and seamless interoperability between SSP, DSP, and partner systems
  • Drive solutions that balance performance, latency, scale, and reliability expected by modern programmatic platforms
AI-First Innovation
  • Incorporate AI/ML-driven features into product workflows where relevant - from optimization, personalization, to automation and predictive insights
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and integrate innovative technologies that elevate product value
Role Requirements:
Experience & Domain Expertise
  • 7+ years in Product Management with 4+ years in AdTech programmatic systems (SSP, DSP, or exchange infrastructure).
  • Deep technical understanding of programmatic advertising workflows, OpenRTB protocols, auction logic, and real-time advertising systems.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering complex, integrated product solutions end-to-end, ideally in programmatic, multi-tenant platforms.
Technical & Analytical Skills
  • Strong technical fluency - comfortable discussing system architecture, APIs, integrations, and real-time data flows with engineering teams.
  • Hands-on familiarity with SQL for querying and validating data insights; practical experience using Python for prototyping, automation, or analysis is a plus.
Strategic & Hands-On Approach
  • Proven ability to scope, validate, and lead technical POCs and product integrations.
  • A problem solver who can balance product vision with operational realities, trade-offs, and data-driven decision making.
  • Experience working closely with operations (supply/demand), data science, and engineering teams - not just managing specs but helping deliver the solution.
Communication & Collaboration
  • Excellent communicator capable of explaining complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences.
  • Strong collaborator who thrives in remote, distributed teams and can bridge functions, teams, and time zones.
