About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead UI/UX Designer with 6–7 years of full-time experience to join our dynamic team at Schbang. In this role, you will be responsible for leading design projects across multiple digital platforms, including websites and mobile applications. You will oversee the entire design lifecycle—from research and wireframing to prototyping and final UI design—ensuring the delivery of engaging, user-centric digital experiences. The position requires managing a team of talented designers, collaborating closely with clients, and working cross-functionally with strategy, technology, and account teams to achieve design excellence. The ideal candidate will possess a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in website and mobile app design, along with excellent leadership and communication skills to manage client expectations and internal teams effectively.

Qualifications

• 6–7 years of full-time experience in UI/UX design, preferably within reputed design studios or digital agencies.
• A compelling portfolio showcasing a diverse range of website and mobile app projects.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects).
• Knowledge of additional tools like FigJam, Adobe XD, InVision, Miro, Maze, Webflow/Framer, Principle, and Zeplin is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of responsive design principles, design systems, usability, interaction design, and prototyping techniques.
• Proven experience in team leadership, client management, and stakeholder communication.
• Excellent presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate design concepts to clients and internal teams.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end UI/UX design process for websites, mobile applications, campaign microsites, and digital products, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet client objectives.
• Manage multiple client accounts and oversee various design projects concurrently, maintaining adherence to timelines and quality standards.
• Guide and mentor a team of junior and senior designers, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and skill development.
• Conduct user research, develop wireframes, user journeys, and prototypes to inform design decisions and optimize user experience.
• Review and approve design outputs, ensuring consistency, usability, and visual appeal across all deliverables.
• Collaborate closely with clients, internal stakeholders, strategy teams, developers, and project managers to align on project goals and deliverables.
• Present design concepts, rationales, and final solutions confidently during client meetings and internal reviews.
• Implement and promote best practices, design thinking methodologies, and process improvements within the team to enhance efficiency and creativity.
