Define and own the UI vision, strategy, and visual design standards across products
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of UI designers and UI engineers
Establish UI best practices, component libraries, and design systems
Advocate for pixel-perfect, visually consistent interfaces across platforms
Oversee end-to-end UI design including high-fidelity mockups, style guides, and prototypes
Ensure design consistency and adherence to accessibility (WCAG) standards
Conduct design quality reviews and provide constructive feedback
Partner with UX teams to translate wireframes into visually engaging UI screens
Collaborate with Engineering teams to ensure design feasibility and accurate front-end implementation
Present visual concepts, themes, and recommendations to executive stakeholders

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
10+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with 2-4+ years in a leadership or principal role
Strong portfolio showcasing high-quality UI design, interaction patterns visual storytelling, and product UI work
Proficiency with modern design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, AI-driven design tools).
Solid understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React/Next.js) to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
Strong understand of responsive design, accessibility (WCAG), typography, grids, layouts, and design systems.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
