About the Job
Role & responsibilities
  • Develop and optimize beverage premix formulations (tea/coffee-based, dairy/non-dairy, flavored variants).
  • Conduct lab trials, pilot runs, and commercial scale validation.
  • Manage ingredient selection, functional additives, stabilizers, sweeteners.
  • Improve taste, solubility, shelf life, and cost per kg.
  • Lead new product development from concept to launch.
  • Ensure FSSAI compliance and documentation.
  • Work with procurement for raw material benchmarking.
  • Handle vendor coordination for new ingredients and machinery trials.
  • Maintain batch records, SOPs, and technical dossiers.
  • Support B2B customization projects.
Preferred candidate profile
  • Prior experience in instant tea/coffee premix or dairy-based powders.
  • Exposure to institutional/B2B product development.
  • Team handling experience (25 members).
  • M.Sc / B.Tech / M.Tech in Food Technology, Dairy Technology, or related field.
  • 5–10 years experience in beverage / premix / FMCG R&D.
  • Hands-on experience in spray drying or powder systems preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of emulsifiers, stabilizers, flavors, sweetener systems.
  • Experience in cost optimization and scale-up validation.
