Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated PLC Software Engineer with 3 - 5 years of experience in industrial automation. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience in PLC programming, especially using Codesys software, and should be capable of handling automation projects independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, program, and troubleshoot PLC software using Codesys platform
- Design control logic, HMI interfaces, and automation solutions
- Commissioning and on-site support for automation systems
- Integrate PLC systems with SCADA, VFDs, sensors, and industrial communication networks
- Prepare technical documentation including functional specifications and test reports
- Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and project teams for seamless system integration
- Provide technical support during installation and post-installation phases
Required Skills & Technical Expertise
- Strong hands-on experience in Codesys software (mandatory)
- Experience in PLC programming, debugging, and commissioning
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, EtherCAT, CANopen, etc.)
- Understanding of control systems, sensors, actuators, and VFDs
- Experience with HMI/SCADA integration
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience in industrial automation, manufacturing, or special-purpose machines
- Exposure to motion control systems
- Willingness to travel for site commissioning (if required)
Educational Qualification
- BE in Electrical / Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering
