Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Engineer – Process Instruments to lead the design and development of instruments for industrial applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in designing, testing, and integrating process instruments such as pressure, temperature, flow, and level sensors, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design & Development:

• Develop and design process instruments, including Pressure Gauge, Differential Pressure Gauge, Pressure Seals, Temperature Gauge, Level Gauge , RTD and TC with Thermowells Manifolds Valve Assemblies
• Create detailed technical drawings, schematics, and specifications using CAD tools.
• Select appropriate materials and components to enhance instrument durability and accuracy.
• Ensure designs comply with international standards (e.g., ISA, IEC, ANSI, ASME).

2. Testing & Validation:

• Perform prototype testing and calibration of process instruments.
• Conduct failure analysis, troubleshooting, and design modifications to improve reliability.
• Validate instrument performance under different industrial conditions.

3. Project Management & Collaboration:

• Work with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, and quality control.
• Assist in project planning, cost estimation, and risk assessment.
• Provide technical support to vendors and customers.

4. Compliance & Documentation:

• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and industry regulations (e.g., SIL, ATEX, HAZOP).
• Prepare detailed engineering reports, datasheets, and product manuals.
• Support technical bids, vendor selection, and customer presentations.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in process instrument design, development, or engineering.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, EPLAN).
• Strong understanding of industrial process instruments (flow meters, pressure/temperature sensors, level transmitters, etc.).
• Experience with Instrument calibration, signal processing, and industrial protocols.
• Familiarity with hazardous area equipment and certifications (ATEX, IECEx).
• Hands on experience on any ERP System.

Preferred Skills:

• Certification in Functional Safety (SIL) or Hazardous Area Equipment (ATEX, IECEx).
• Experience in industries like Oil & Gas, Power, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, or Manufacturing.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
