Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop Wiring Harness schematics in line with project and regulatory requirements
• Define and select connectors, fuses, and related electrical components based on system requirements
• Develop and maintain CAN topology and ensure alignment with vehicle electrical architecture
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems
• Interpret and implement engineering standards, design guidelines, and MB norms and processes
• Support system-level understanding of ECUs, control systems, and electrical/electronic functions within passenger cars
• Drive continuous improvement by incorporating future technological advancements such as High Voltage and Battery systems

Required Skills and Experience:

• 15 years of overall industry experience in Wiring Harness Design Development
• Strong technical expertise in Wiring Harness schematic design and development
• Good understanding of vehicle electrical architecture, ECUs, control systems, and CAN topology
• Hands-on experience with CAD tools such as Unigraphics NX, Ldorado, E3-Cable, and PREEVision
• Awareness and experience with PLM systems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with suppliers and global cross-functional teams

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelors / Masters degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical Engineering.
• Post Graduate qualification in Design / Electrical / Wiring Harness is an added advantage.
