Location: Bhiwandi / Mumbai

Working Days: 6 Days a Week

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Product & Development Manager to lead product conceptualization, design development, material finalization, and manufacturing coordination for interior and modular furniture solutions. The role focuses on developing innovative, cost-effective, and production-friendly interior products aligned with market trends and business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop new interior products and modular furniture systems.
  • Convert design concepts into manufacturable products.
  • Coordinate with design, production, sourcing, and sales teams.
  • Research market trends, materials, finishes, and hardware.
  • Standardize product specifications, drawings, and documentation.
  • Optimize product designs for cost, quality, and production efficiency.
  • Develop prototypes, mock-ups, and samples for approvals.
  • Manage product lifecycle from concept to execution.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and brand standards.
  • Support sales and estimation teams with technical inputs.
Skills & Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of interior design, furniture detailing, and manufacturing processes.
  • Hands-on experience with modular furniture, woodwork, hardware, and finishes.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of SketchUp / SolidWorks is a plus.
  • Understanding of BOQ, BOM, costing, and value engineering.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional teams and vendors.
  • Strong problem-solving, innovation, and leadership skills.
Educational Qualification
  • Degree / Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Mechanical, or related field
  • Relevant certifications will be an added advantage
Salary
  • ₹60,000 – ₹90,000 per month (Based on experience)
