Responsibilities

-Product Strategy: Assist product leadership in developing a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with market needs.

-Roadmap Planning: Lead the creation and management of the product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements that will meet customer and market needs in the most efficient way.

-Product Development: Create clear epics and features for junior analysts to translate into detailed stories that articulate business requirements with clarity

-Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering, UX/design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure seamless execution of the product development lifecycle. Serve as the primary point of contact for all product-related inquiries and decisions

-Product Releases and Communications: Facilitate the rollout of new features through alpha, beta, and general availability stages by working closely with customer-facing teams, analyzing feature impact, and preparing necessary communications.

-Market Research: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential threats. Use this data to inform product decisions and strategies.

-Customer Engagement: Engage with customers regularly to gather feedback, understand their needs, and validate product ideas. Act as the representative for customers in the assigned product area, taking responsibility for the end-to-end customer journey and touchpoints.

-Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze product performance metrics to assess the success of program/product initiatives. Make data-driven decisions to optimize product features and user experience.

-Leadership: Mentor and guide junior product managers / business analysts and other team members. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the product team.

-Experience: 5 - 8 years of experience in product management, with a focus on SaaS products. Proven track record of successfully launching and managing SaaS products at scale.

-Skills: Strong understanding of the SaaS business model, preferably in a US government context. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

-Communication: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

-Software Engineering: Solid understanding of software development processes and technologies. Ability to work closely with engineering teams to drive product development.

-Leadership: Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with experience working in cross-functional teams, managing competing priorities and mentoring junior product managers.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

-Experience in agile development methodologies.

-Familiarity with product management tools such as Jira, Productboard, Miro or similar.
