We are looking for a Product Manager who is passionate about solving the underwriting problems that modern-day fin-techs face. You will lead integrations with external third-party data sources, management of in-house underwriting platforms and coordination with LOS teams to ensure that our underwriting process is in line with overall user experience. If you can understand and work in a complex tech setup and enjoy problem solving within business and user-facing constraints, then this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solve complex underwriting challenges at the highest levels.
• Develop solutions to achieve underwriting objectives with minimal disruption to user workflows.
• Collaborate closely with tech leads and risk teams to determine the best platform approaches.
• Make design decisions within product and technical constraints, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
• Define and evolve the product vision for the underwriting platform in alignment with company goals.
• Manage the product roadmap for underwriting automation, rule engines, risk scoring models, and decision support tools.
• Make prioritization decisions after consultation with business stakeholders.
• Oversee end-to-end product development from concept (0) to launch (1).
• Support Product Managers in the effective operation of pods within the underwriting team.
• Work closely with engineering teams to validate technical feasibility, resolve blockers, and ensure timely delivery.
• Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.

Skills & Qualifications:

• 4–5 years of product management experience in building underwriting platforms for fintech, lending, or neo banking players.
• MBA from a reputable institution or equivalent.
• Strong technical understanding - able to discuss APIs, integration approaches, and take design calls with engineering leads.
• A system-first approach, but with strong regard for overall user experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills - you will be interacting with our data science head daily to make key deliveries.

Good to Have:

• Experience in using workflow management tools or rule engines.
