Job Description

Position: AFC Product Manager

Experience: 8-10 Years

Location: Pune

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced AFC Product Manager with strong domain expertise in AFC Device Applications, AFC Backoffice Systems, ABT (Account-Based Ticketing), NCMC, and QR Code ticketing solutions. The candidate will drive end-to-end product ownership and implementation within transit/payment ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

• Own product lifecycle for AFC devices and backoffice systems.
• Act as SME for ABT architecture, NCMC integration, and QR ticketing.
• As an SME managing the client discussion and design workshop with client.
• Requirement gathering as per RFP and documented the same as per deliverable.
• Grooming sessions to technical and testing team based on final requirement.
• Define functional requirements and coordinate with engineering & integration teams.
• Manage settlement, fare engine, and transaction workflows.
• Ensure compliance with NPCI/NCMC and payment standards.
• Work closely with banks, OEMs, system integrators, and government stakeholders.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of AFC ecosystem (Devices + Backoffice).
• Strong in writing the functional design documentation like SRS, Preliminary design and Detail design.
• Strong in use case writing and flow diagram in tools like draw.io or similar.
• Experience in Account based ticketing, NCMC specification, and QR-based ticketing as per C-DAC specification.
• Knowledge of transit payments, EMV/RuPay, and settlement systems.
• Excellent stakeholder and product management skills.
