Position Title :Product Manager - Crop Nutrition

Location - Mumbai HO

ROLE PURPOSE :

Duties and Responsibilities

Major Role

• Designing a Marketing Plan & Long term Strategy for the CN Portfolio
• Identifying, Planning and Executing CN Portfolio establishment.
• Developing communication Strategy & Brand USPs
• Coordination with Sales & Marketing Team for commercials
• New product pipeline Project management Lifecycle definition
• Post Launch Audit and effectiveness benchmarking
• Provide business cases for new products introduction/ in-house portfolio.
• Customer Value propositions and defining Value
• Training and Development activities.
• Drive Farmer Engagement; Increase activities to demonstrate product effectiveness & build brand value.
• Identifying new opportunities(markets) for Products launched
• Work on Pricing strategy at various PLC stage products.

Market Intelligence:

• Analysing market trends and Customer segments
• Competing brands- market share, pricing, schemes
• Customer profile/ value analysis/brand switching behaviour
• Channel and Customer feedback monitoring

Communication mix:

• Deciding advertisement objectives/channel promo objectives/customer promo objectives
• Product promotion Inputs
• Select the communication media
• Design communication campaigns
• Product communication evaluation

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Qualification

• B.Sc. /M.Sc. (Agri.) and MBA in agribusiness from Premier institute with significant experience in agrochemical marketing or Product management.
• Prior extensive experience in agrochemical sector and have proven product management/marketing skills.

Experience

• The incumbent should have more than 7 years of strong marketing and sales experience, preferably from Agrochemical industry.
• Good analytical / conceptual / logical skills / Brand Management Exposure.
• Good Market Connect / Ability to draw customer engagement plans
• Good Emotional Quotient/ Man Management experience
• Technically sound and strong in marketing
• Must have proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office / SAP preferred
• Fluent in English and local languages.
• Must have a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
• Strong desire for continued growth and learning
