Product Manager SaaS Platform (Azure)

About the Role

We are seeking a Product Manager to lead endtoend delivery of a multitenant SaaS platform on Azure, combining platform/infrastructure capabilities with core product and application development across mobile (iOS/Android, ARKit/ARCore) and web. The role spans discovery through launch for gated Alpha/Beta milestones, driving identity/SSO, realtime data flows, partner API integrations, privacybydesign, observability, and readiness for highscale events. The PM will orchestrate roadmap, change control, UAT, and launch operations in collaboration with engineering, design, security, and legal teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the product roadmap from Alpha - Beta, sequencing multitenant platform capabilities (identity/SSO, tenancy/isolation, API gateway) alongside mobile/web feature delivery and AR experiences.
• Translate vision into OKRs and release goals; define clear acceptance criteria and Definition of Done for each gated milestone.
• Lead discovery for partner API availability/schemas/transport (webhooks vs. polling), device matrix, notifications, and role/permission models; capture decisions in ADRs/TDDs.
• Manage a single prioritized backlog covering platform services (APIM, eventing, data plane), web dashboards, mobile clients, and integration adapters; ensure OpenAPI contracts, stubs, and sandbox readiness precede integration.
• Drive sprint ceremonies and release gates; enforce readiness criteria (no P0 at release) and performance targets (e.g., API P95 less than 2s; realtime client propagation less than 1s).
• Coordinate UAT with external stakeholders; prepare runbooks for deployment, incident response, eventday operations, and DR/BCP drills.
• Embed privacybydesign (e.g., COPPA/FERPA/GDPR), data residency enforcement, RBAC, audit logging, encryption, and secure exports into product requirements.
• Partner with engineering on observability (SLO dashboards, synthetic probes, alerting) for Tier0 services; uphold error budgets and incident postmortems.
• Support FinOps: tagging, budgets/alerts, pertenant cost views; optimize GPU/compute, storage lifecycle (video/3D assets), and network egress.
• Align content/SDK stakeholders on asset handoff specs and version pinning; manage risk for SDK drift, venue connectivity, and late partner dependencies via feature flags and graceful fallbacks.

Qualifications

• 712 years in product management delivering complex B2B2C platforms across mobile and web, including realtime and multitenant architectures.
• Working fluency with Azure SaaS building blocks: Landing Zone, API Management, AKS/App Service, SignalR/Service Bus/Event Hubs, Blob/Cosmos/SQL, Monitor/App Insights, Key Vault, WAF/Defender.
• Experience with identity/SSO for workforce and external users (e.g., Entra ID/External ID) and rolebased access controls.
• Handson with API ecosystems and integration under uncertainty: adapter patterns, stubs, contract testing, sandbox planning, and change control.
• Proven UAT orchestration and launch readiness discipline for hard external deadlines and highscale events.
• Applied knowledge of privacy/compliance for youth and international users (COPPA/FERPA/GDPR), data residency, retention/deletion, and secure exports.
