Role & responsibilities
- Analyze various market segments and collaborate with leadership to choose the best ones to pursue.
- Develop a three-year roadmap for products to illustrate the vision and plan into the future.
- Develop and maintain a business proposal that makes a compelling case for continued investment into those products.
- Collaborate with other stakeholders such as Marketing on the creation of positioning for products.
- Create user stories for current and future products based on the markets problems.
- Manage the entire product line life cycle from legacy products to prototyping and testing new features/products and ideas.
- Know why the company is winning or losing in the market, and drive changes to product and processes to create improvement.
- Keep a finger on the pulse of competition, and develop strategies and tactics to reduce the threat.
- Assess competition by comparing products
- Create product marketing communications objectives in collaboration with Marketing
- Collaborate with Sales Head to create product sales strategies
- Work with customers and sales teams to evaluate product requirements
- Create long and short-term product sales forecasts and analysis for management
- Review inventory levels and production schedules for product availability
- Determine product pricing based on market research, production costs and anticipated demand
Preferred candidate profile
Working knowledge of SAP , MS-Excel, Presentation Skills, Client Relationships, willingness to travel
