Role Purpose

This role acts as the

execution and operations shadow to the Product & Growth Owner

, owning end-to-end tracking, coordination, and hygiene across

Shopify, SEO, analytics, marketplaces, and inventory

.

not

a strategy, paid media, or creative role.

Success is defined by

clarity, speed, accuracy, and zero follow-ups

.

Core Mandate

You Will

• Convert product & growth discussions into clear tasks, owners, timelines, and outcomes
• Own end-to-end execution tracking across Shopify, SEO, GTM, analytics, and marketplaces
• Act as the first-level POC for agencies and vendors
• Ensure nothing slips, nothing is vague, and everything is measurable

Key Responsibilities

• Product & Growth Execution
• Track initiatives from idea → execution → QA → reporting
• Maintain central trackers for internal and agency deliverables
• Proactively flag risks, delays, and dependencies
• Shopify Operations (Core)
• Daily Shopify backend management (PDPs, collections, merchandising)
• CRO hygiene checks and coordination
• Use AI tools for bulk updates and content optimisation (SEO-safe)
• SEO Execution
• On-page SEO changes and Search Console monitoring
• Ensure SEO hygiene during Shopify updates
• Track SEO impact post changes
• Analytics & GTM
• Own GA4 & GTM health, event tracking, and debugging
• Maintain dashboards for funnels, conversions, and traffic
• Share decision-ready insights
• Marketplaces & Inventory
• Manage catalog hygiene on marketplaces (Amazon, Nykaa, etc.)
• Coordinate inventory sync between Shopify, stores, and marketplaces
• Vendor & Agency Coordination
• Execution POC for SEO, martech, and marketplace vendors
• Validate deliverables and support invoicing inputs
• Performance Measurement (High-Level)

Measured on:

execution SLAs, platform hygiene (Shopify, SEO, Analytics), and reduction in dependency on founder/product owner

What This Role Will Not Do

• Product strategy or roadmap ownership
• Paid ads, media buying, design, development, or accounting
• Required Skills

Must-Have

• 3–4 years of experience across Shopify, SEO, and Analytics
• Hands-on with Shopify Admin, GA4, GTM, Search Console
• Strong Google Sheets skills

Good to Have

• Marketplace experience, no-code or AI tools
• Startup or agency exposure

Ideal Candidate
