Role Overview
The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for owning the product narrative across the lifecyclefrom launch to scale. This role bridges Product, Sales, Marketing, and Leadership to ensure Simple Energy’s products are positioned clearly, competitively, and compellingly in the market.
Key Responsibilities
Product Positioning & Messaging
- Develop clear product positioning, value propositions, and messaging tailored to target customer segments.
- Translate technical features into customer-centric benefits.
- Own product story across all customer-facing touchpoints.
Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategy
- Lead go-to-market planning for new product launches, variants, and feature updates.
- Coordinate with Product, Sales, Supply Chain, and Operations for seamless launches.
- Define launch plans, timelines, and success metrics.
Market & Competitive Intelligence
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, pricing sensitivity, and usage behavior.
- Track competitors, emerging technologies, and EV industry trends.
- Provide actionable insights to Product and Leadership teams.
Sales Enablement
- Create sales enablement tools including pitch decks, product one-pagers, FAQs, comparison sheets, and training material.
- Enable sales and dealer teams with product knowledge and objection-handling frameworks.
Campaign & Content Collaboration
- Work closely with Brand, Digital, and Performance Marketing teams to drive product-led campaigns.
- Support content creation for website, social media, PR, and dealer communication.
- Ensure consistent messaging across channels.
Customer Feedback & Insights
- Gather insights from customer feedback, sales inputs, service data, and market responses.
- Close the feedback loop with Product teams to influence roadmap and feature prioritization.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 4–8 years of experience in Product Marketing, preferably in EV, Automotive, Mobility, Consumer Tech, or Hardware startups.
- Experience working closely with Product and Sales teams.
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience in electric vehicles, automotive, energy, or mobility startups.
- Exposure to dealer/channel-led sales models.
- Experience launching physical products or hardware-led solutions.
