Key Responsibilities,
Category Design & Creation:
1. Develop and refine the category narrative that sets us apart in the market.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and articulate the unique value proposition of our products.
3. Conduct market research to understand industry trends and customer needs, and incorporate insights into the category narrative.
Storytelling:
1. Craft engaging and persuasive stories that communicate our mission, vision, and the unique benefits of our products.
2. Develop a consistent brand voice and messaging across all channels, including the website, social media, advertising, and customer communications.
3. Create content that evokes emotions and connects with the audience on a deeper level.
Product Marketing
1. Understand customer needs and market trends to influence product decisions and help us proactively understand what we should build.
2. Align with the Product, Sales, & CS teams on the roadmap and design/execute communication cadences to stakeholders.
Sales Enablement
1. Create a comprehensive asset stack—decks, docs, videos, and web pages, mapped to market needs, product features, and use cases.
2. Create tutorials and how-tos for Sales, CS and other internal teams to \*really\* understand NSOffice AI’s features, solutions, and use cases.
3. Proactively accelerate new/expansion opportunities through assets and campaigns based on specific needs throughout the sales cycle.
Thought Leadership
1. Conceptualize and promote thought leadership through events and webinars on topics of interest to prospects and customers across geographies.
2. Grow and engage our ‘Customer Advisory Board’ to source ideas from the industry and align our efforts with the broader needs.
3. Over time, create an engaged community of stakeholders consisting of prospects, customers, and influencers globally.
A typical week / month -
Crafting stories for our product modules, own the execution of these stories from design, development to distribution
Prospect and customer calls to understand needs dynamically and figure how we can service them proactively.
Draft category stories, Create marketing assets. Ex: Case Study / Testimonial videos, Solutions Docs / Decks, Battlecards, etc.
Product communication to internal or external stakeholders on what’s coming up and why they should care.
Servicing specific asks for strategic accounts in the pipeline—new/expansion and tracking them to closure Cadences with Sales, CS, and Product teams to create greater alignment on what we build, what we sell ..among other things!
What really matters
● Ability to craft, adapt, execute, and experiment marketing programs and campaigns across channels
● Demonstrated excellence in product marketing in leading B2B companies with customers in US markets. ● Experience working with sales and product teams to translate and map strategic market needs with solutions & product narratives/messaging.
● Ability to write, design, and create compelling marketing assets in various formats—decks, docs, videos, etc.
● Experience working in an early stage startup, building things from the ground up, and working with ambiguity.
● Knowledge of the IT buying process
What matters somewhat
● Ability to balance quantitative and qualitative mindsets to analyse various situations.
● A background in B2B/SaaS marketing for 3-7 years. Open to explore if someone has B2B/SaaS and B2C mix experience too.
● Experience working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with diverse teams.
● Deep understanding of the enterprise software business and market cycles.
● A moderate sense of humour and a passion for things beyond the realm of the desk and chair.
