Job Description: Product Quality Manager

Roles & Responsibilities

• Implement, maintain, and continuously improve the

ISO 9001 Quality Management System

.

• Monitor and control quality at all stages of production including

quarrying, cutting, polishing, and finishing

.

• Ensure control of

shade, dimensions, surface finish, breakage

, and overall product quality.

• Manage

in-process inspections, final inspections, and PDI (Pre-Dispatch Inspection) checks

.

• Use and maintain

measuring instruments

, ensure calibration, and keep accurate calibration records.

• Handle

customer complaints

, conduct

root cause analysis

, and implement

CAPA

.

• Drive initiatives to

reduce rejection, rework, and material wastage

.

• Ensure effective

ERP implementation and usage

across quality and production processes.

• Lead and manage the

QC team

, ensuring proper documentation, reporting, and compliance.

• Drive

process improvement and cost-reduction initiatives

.

• Apply

QA/QC tools

such as

RCA, CAPA, SPC, and FMEA

to improve product and process quality.

• Prepare, maintain, and control

ISO documentation

and support

internal and external audits

.

• Coordinate with production, dispatch, and other cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are met.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of

ISO 9001 standards and audit processes

.

• Hands-on experience with

quality inspection tools and measuring instruments

.

• Excellent

problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills

.

• Proven

team leadership and people management

abilities.

• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Experience in

manufacturing / stone / marble / granite industry

preferred.

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in

Engineering / Quality / Industrial / Mechanical

or equivalent.

• 5–10 years

of relevant QA/QC experience .
