**Job Description Summary**

• The Senior Engineer Product design and testing will play a pivotal role in leading and executing some of the NTI/NPI programs of our solar, battery storage and other renewable/ industrial solutions
• This position requires a seasoned engineer with a passion for innovation and a deep understanding of products and system solutions
• You will lead a team of engineers in execution from design to manufacturing stages, by validating cutting-edge technologies that can enhance our existing products or develop entirely new ones

Roles and Responsibilities:

Execution:

• Brainstorm and explore novel concepts and technologies for improving solar and BESS inverters or developing new solutions.
• Find opportunities to get the product leap frog the competition by generating more VAVE.
• Identify potential areas for innovation that address industry needs and challenges.
• Ability to showcase program executed on time and complete all design review

Learning and continuous development:

• Stay updated on the latest technological advancements from universities, research centers, and industry publications.
• Identify promising technologies with potential applications in solar and battery storage power systems.
• Analyze and define the technical feasibility and benefits of integrating these technologies into existing systems.
• Showcase knowledge in existing products and ability to demonstrate the design changes and modifications

Leadership Collaboration:

• Build and lead a team of engineers and researchers with diverse skillsets.
• Foster a collaborative environment that encourages creative problem-solving and idea generation.
• Provide guidance and support to ensure efficient exploration of identified technologies.

Validation Proof-of-Concept:

• Develop and oversee proof-of-concept projects to validate the applicability of new technologies.
• Collaborate with research centers to leverage their expertise and facilities for testing and validation.
• Analyze results and assess the commercial viability of integrating new technologies.

Communication Reporting:

• Clearly communicate progress, findings, and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
• Prepare reports and presentations that effectively convey the potential impact of new technologies.
• Align the team''s exploration with the organization''s strategic goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors / Advanced / equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Extensive experience in power electronics, solar energy, or battery storage systems
• Thorough knowledge in sizing of PV and BESS plant
• Proven track record of innovation and technical leadership
• Minimum 8 years of product life cycle experience from design to service
• Must have demonstrated minimum of >4 successful NPI and projects execution.
• Working experience in MV and LV drives.
• Must have handled larger teams with leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements
