Senior Product Manager – Observability
We’re looking for a seasoned
Product Leader
to own and scale our
Observability strategy and platform
— driving visibility, reliability, and operational excellence across distributed systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Define the vision and roadmap for
metrics, logs, traces, monitoring, and alerting
- Lead SLI/SLO strategy, error budgets, and reliability standards
- Drive instrumentation best practices across micro services
- Partner closely with Engineering, SRE, Infrastructure, and Data teams
- Evaluate and optimise tooling (OpenTelemetry, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.)
- Improve uptime, MTTR, and developer productivity
Required Skills
- 10 to 15 years in Product Management (enterprise/platform experience preferred)
- Strong background in
cloud-native and distributed systems
- Experience with observability or infrastructure products
- Deep understanding of monitoring, tracing, and incident management
- Proven ability to drive strategy and execution in complex environments
- Strong executive communication and cross-functional leadership skills
