Role Overview:
We are looking for a Product Manager with 4+ years of experience in fintech or digital lending, with a strong focus on
collections and recovery workflows
. You will own and drive the product roadmap for collections capabilities, helping financial institutions optimize recovery rates, streamline operations, and enhance borrower engagement.
The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of
collections lifecycle, delinquency management, and recovery strategies
, along with the ability to work closely with engineering teams to deliver scalable and data-driven solutions. Experience with
LOS/LMS platforms is a plus
.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and drive the product vision, roadmap, and execution for collections and recovery solutions
- Own end-to-end collections lifecycle capabilities including
delinquency management, DPD segmentation, recovery workflows, and payment tracking
- Work closely with stakeholders to design and optimize
collections strategies, automation workflows, and customer communication journeys
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver scalable features using Agile methodologies, ensuring timely and high-quality releases
- Build and enhance
rule engines, prioritization logic, and automated decisioning systems
for collections efficiency
- Design omnichannel engagement strategies (calls, SMS, email, field collections) to improve recovery outcomes
- Partner with risk, operations, compliance, and analytics teams to align product features with business and regulatory requirements
- Own backlog grooming, sprint planning, and release cycles to ensure consistent product delivery
- Define and track KPIs such as
collection efficiency, recovery rates, roll rates, and customer engagement metrics
- Leverage data insights to continuously improve product performance and user experience
- Work closely with customers to gather feedback and translate it into actionable product enhancements
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in
product management within fintech, lending, or financial services SaaS
collections domain
, including delinquency buckets, recovery strategies, and collections operations
collections platforms, recovery tools, or payment systems
- Ability to translate business requirements into clear
user stories, workflows, and product features
- Hands-on experience working with
engineering teams in Agile environments
- Strong analytical mindset with experience in defining and tracking
collections-related KPIs
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
