We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Product Manager to own and drive the strategy and execution of a key segment within a large-scale payments platform. This role offers the opportunity to shape merchant and shopper experiences, optimize reliability, and lead cross-functional initiatives in a high-impact environment. You will collaborate closely with engineering, design, support, and partner teams to deliver seamless payment solutions that directly influence revenue and conversion. The position is deeply hands-on, with responsibility for managing product lifecycles, resolving critical issues, and improving partner integrations. This role thrives in a remote-first, high-trust environment, where your decisions have measurable outcomes and contribute to long-term product success.

Accountabilities

• Own product direction and execution for a defined area of the payments ecosystem, ensuring clear priorities and measurable results.
• Improve merchant and shopper experiences across onboarding, checkout, refunds, disputes, payouts, and reporting.
• Reduce friction and failure rates, enhance trust, and improve product ratings through continuous optimization.
• Leverage data, merchant feedback, and support signals to define next steps, success measures, and trade-offs.
• Collaborate with key payments partners to manage integrations, resolve dependencies, and deliver updates.
• Communicate progress, risks, and decisions effectively to stakeholders in a distributed environment.

Requirements

• 7+ years in product management roles, with senior IC experience owning complex problem spaces.
• 4+ years in payments or fintech products, ideally at scale, with experience in global launches.
• Strong product judgment with the ability to make decisions in ambiguous situations and under imperfect information.
• Experience working on high-trust, critical systems where reliability is paramount.
• Ability to collaborate closely with engineers and designers, considering technical constraints and trade-offs.
• Analytical mindset with practical experience in metrics, dashboards, and instrumentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in a distributed, asynchronous environment.
• Familiarity with WordPress, WooCommerce, or open-source ecosystems is a plus.
