Job Description:
- 7 Years of working knowledge of SQL Server and database concepts.
- Excellent Knowledge of SSIS & working experience on data migrations.
- Experience in developing reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
- In-depth knowledge of SQL performance optimization.
- Experience with SQL Profiler and analyzing SQL Execution Plans.
- Be a strong problem solver who is willing to research, learn, and bring best practices in delivering the product/solution.
- Collaborating with co-workers to facilitate the creation of large, complex developments, as required.
- Perform structured/planned/formal code reviews, and unit tests & actively participate in design review sessions.
- Create Root Cause Analysis (RCA) or Post Incident Report (PIR) for customer-reported issues.
- Quick turnaround on troubleshooting complex technical challenges, creative problem solver & resolve conflicts.
- Provide timely & accurate updates along with suggestions to facilitate making informed decisions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with extensive collaboration with US counterparts.
Role & responsibilities :
a) Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers
b) Perform query performance tuning and optimization
c) Manage database indexing, partitioning, and archiving strategies
d) Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues
e) Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance standards
f) Collaborate with application teams for database design and integration.
Leadership Responsibilities:
a) Lead and mentor a team of SQL developers
b) Review code and enforce best practices
c) Allocate tasks and manage team deliverables
d) Provide technical guidance and support to team members
e) Participate in project planning and estimation
f) Coordinate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams
