Responsibilities
Build
  • Guide engineers in building, testing, deploying, and maintaining software.
  • Improve platform reliability, resilience, performance, and overall system health.
  • Drive adoption of strong engineering and DevOps practices.
  • Develop scalable, cloud‑first applications (including mobile where relevant).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents.
  • Work with CI/CD pipelines and improve automation.
Execute
  • Write clean, secure, well‑tested code using modern development patterns.
  • Strengthen Agile delivery rituals and engineering discipline.
  • Promote secure coding and usage of proper tooling.
  • Communicate effectively and empathetically across teams.
  • Support DevOps culture through collaboration and retrospection.
  • Build customer understanding into development decisions.
  • Participate in operational support, including on‑call duties.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Experience developing and maintaining software in two or more modern languages.
  • Strong background in cloud‑first development (AWS).
  • Experience with APIs, logging, monitoring, and alerting.
  • Proven use of secure coding practices and modern engineering tools.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong knowledge of design patterns and data modeling.
  • Experience with TDD, BDD, Clean Code.
  • Provides operational and on‑call support.
  • Uses data to inform decisions.
  • Experience leading individuals or delivering specific technical outcomes.
  • Strong capability in TDD, BDD, Clean Code, and operational ownership.
  • Active sharing of knowledge across teams.
  • Participation in community or industry events.
