Role and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js and JavaScript.
• Build and manage RESTful APIs for application features and third-party integrations.
• Design and optimize database schemas and queries using any relational or NoSQL database (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Implement authentication, authorization, and data security best practices.
• Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following coding standards.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning of applications.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth releases.
• Participate in code reviews and Agile development processes.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Node.js and JavaScript development.
• Hands-on experience with REST API development using frameworks like Express.js or similar.
• Experience with any database: MySQL / PostgreSQL / MongoDB or equivalent.
• Understanding of MVC or service-based architecture.
• Familiarity with authentication methods (JWT, OAuth, etc.).
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
• Basic understanding of cloud deployment and CI/CD is a plus.
