We are seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer specializing in Performance Testing to join our team and ensure optimal performance of our applications and systems through meticulous analysis and testing. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the success of our performance testing strategies while delivering high-quality results.

Responsibilities

• Develop and author performance test plans aligned with project objectives
• Design peak workload models based on historical usage data and logs
• Collaborate with stakeholders to negotiate response time Requirements
• Evaluate and recommend rightsizing for performance test environments
• Analyze application risk profiles and align them with performance test objectives
• Translate objectives into test types and monitoring strategies
• Build performance test harnesses using tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, BlazeMeter, etc.
• Oversee test execution while ensuring accuracy and reliability of results
• Gain exposure to at least one modern/advanced tool such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Sysdig, Splunk, Datadog, or Grafana, and perform an end-to-end setup
• Prepare and publish customized reports tailored for technical teams or senior management
• Support root cause analysis activities in both production and non-production environments

Requirements

• 6-10 years of IT experience; 4+ years of experience in performance testing or related fields
• Expertise in monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Sysdig, and App Dynamics
• Proficiency in Splunk, Datadog, and Grafana for advanced performance diagnosis
• Skills in Apache JMeter and LoadRunner for test harness design
• Knowledge of designing workload models based on historical data
• Competency in analyzing application risk profiles and aligning with performance test aims
• Background in creating performance test plans and translating metrics into actionable insights
• Capability to evaluate performance test environments and rightsize them according to needs
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, at a minimum B2 level.
