We seek an experienced ServiceNow Sr. Engineer on our India team, who will be responsible developing and owning complex technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform. You will be responsible for providing application development, maintenance, and technical support to configure best in class solutions for our clients.
We Need You To
- Deliver end-to-end ServiceNow implementations, including requirements gathering, design, configuration, development, testing, and deployment
- Customize and configure ServiceNow applications and modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, SPM, CSM, and others based on client needs
- Translate requirements/stories/mock-ups into fully functional features by working closely with Technical Leads, Solution Architects and Business Process Consultants
- Develop and maintain workflows, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and integrations with external systems
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members in different time zones
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify process improvements and recommend ServiceNow best practices
- Perform system integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers, and integration tools
- Ensure solutions are aligned with architectural principles, security guidelines, and compliance requirements
- Troubleshoot complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
- Frame a range of options for client solutions on the ServiceNow platform, specifically with ITSM experience (optional ITOM, HRSD, SPM, HAM/SAM)
- Participate in recruiting technical team members, through technical interviewing
- Provide sales engineering support as needed
- Work with US-based clients and internal teams
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in ServiceNow application development, with at least 2+ years in sr. engineering positions
- CSA (required), certifications in 1 or more product lines (preferred)
- Exemplary skills with front-end code (JavaScript, Angular JS, Web Services, etc.) and working in a SaaS environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with ServiceNow Mainline Apps (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, SPM, CSM, etc.), 3rd-party integration (REST, SOAP, etc.),
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and processes
- Excellent communications skills and ability to lead and collaborate with a diverse team in different time zones
- Ability to create budgets, work plans, and assignments for engineering teams
- Ability to communicate and present to clients and prospects
- Experience working with an early stage start up is a plus
