Job Summary
The Standard India is looking for SDET with 4+ years of Performance Testing expertise who demonstrates strong communication skills & analytical mindset.
Job Responsibilities:
- Should handle end to end Performance testing activities individually.
- Should be hands on scripting & execution
- Should be good at bottleneck analysis and detailed test reporting
- Should provide performance recommendations to development team to work on performance tuning.
- Should manage stakeholder expectations
- Perform Test Data and Test Environment coordination activities
- Participate in Daily\Weekly Review Meetings
- Should be able to drive performance assessment, test strategy, test reporting meetings and hence the entire PT life cycle of the project
- Document lessons learnt and implement industry best practices for process maturity and quality improvement
- Excellent problem solving and organizational skills
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all management levels
- Implemented CI / CD processes using Jenkins/Azure pipeline creation
Primary Skills:
- Performance Testing Tools (mandatory): LoadRunner, JMeter, K6 (good to have)
- AppDynamics, Dynatrace/Datadog, Jenkins
- Protocols: Mandatory Web (HTTP/HTML), Ajax TruClient, Microservices
- Exposure and knowledge to Insurance Domian & PCF Applications
- Carries good communication skills both written and verbal
- Confident and outgoing in approach, good team player
- Knowledge of Test process and SDLC
- Exposure and knowledge to Agile methodologies
- Performance Test Strategy, Planning and Execution
- Good knowledge of Java programming, Python, VBScript
\* Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru/Pune, India is a requirement of the role. \*
Mode of Working: This role follows a hybrid work model, with a primary base in Bengaluru. While on-site presence is essential for key engagements, flexibility is offered for remote work based on business needs and team alignment.
Skills and Background Youll Need
- EDUCATION: B.Tech / B.E. in Computer Science, IT, or Software Engineering (preferably with MIS specialization)
- EXPERIENCE: 4+ Years
- Experience constructing test cases and executing them across functional, regression and system testing
- Experience using test management tools (JIRA and VersionOne tool.)
- Knowledge of SQL queries.
- Understanding of agile/sprint Iteration software development in relation to testing.
- Knowledge and understanding of Testing Standards.
- Strong communication skills
- Strong analytical ability
