Role Description
We are looking for a
Software Development Manager
with proven experience leading engineering teams in an enterprise‑grade software environment. This is
not
an entry-level or first‑time management role, we require someone who has
already served as an S/W Development Manager
and successfully delivered complex software initiatives at scale
.
Qualifications
Proven Experience as a Software Development Manager
- Must have prior experience
*in the same role*
leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams (Front-End, Back-End, QA, DevOps, Data, Architecture).
- Demonstrated ability to drive delivery, manage technical dependencies, and ensure engineering best practices.
Strong SAFe Agile Background
- Hands-on experience working in a
SAFe Agile
environment.
- Comfortable participating in or leading PI Planning, backlog refinement, sprint ceremonies, and cross-team coordination.
- Ability to align engineering execution with product and program-level roadmaps.
Enterprise-Grade Software Delivery Expertise
- Prior experience delivering large-scale, enterprise-level software systems.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD, cloud platforms, secure coding practices, release processes, and quality governance.
- Ability to manage engineering risks, capacity planning, and milestone tracking.
Leadership & Communication
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor engineers and maintain high team performance standards.
- Capable of working with Product Owners, Architects, and Program/Project leadership to ensure alignment and transparency.
- Proactive in stakeholder communication and risk escalation.
Additional Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with cross-functional global teams.
- Background in telecom, data platforms, or cloud-native applications (optional but beneficial).
- Ability to manage third-party vendors and integrate external development teams.
