WealthOS is an AI “Household CFO” that helps families turn fragmented income, debts, expenses, and goals into a single, intelligible weekly plan so they can reach big life milestones with less stress and better decisions. Instead of being yet another dashboard, WealthOS acts as a finance buddy for a household of individuals, doing the heavy lifting on cash‑flow, debt optimization, and goal‑aligned saving for families who are juggling multiple accounts, responsibilities, and ambitions.
Why work with WealthOS
Working with WealthOS means joining a US‑based, product‑led fintech startup at the ground floor, while staying in India and working closely with a founder who has previously built and shipped at Amazon scale. You get the pace and ownership of an early‑stage company, combined with the rigor, bar‑raising code quality, and customer obsession you’d expect from a Big Tech environment.
You’ll work directly with the founder on problems that look a lot more like real‑world systems at Amazon—messy data, complex edge cases, and high‑stakes user journeys—than textbook assignments. Because we’re building for US households from day one, you’ll also get exposure to global product thinking and be able to point to live features in a US startup and say, “I owned that.”
As a Software Developer Intern at WealthOS, you will work on active product development in Lovable to help build and ship our MVP over a 2–3 month internship based in India. You’ll collaborate directly with the founder and core team to design, implement, and iterate on features that make it easier for families to understand and improve their finances.
• Build and iterate on core product features inside Lovable, from prototype to usable MVP.
• Write clean, maintainable code for backend and/or frontend services powering the WealthOS experience.
• Integrate with third‑party APIs and services needed to support our financial workflows.
• Contribute to debugging, testing, and performance improvements across the stack.
• Participate in product discussions, helping translate user needs into scoped, implementable tasks.
This is a paid opportunity with a nominal stipend determined based on your experience, with a strong opportunity for conversion into a full‑time role for high performers.
• Currently enrolled in a Computer Science (or closely related) engineering program at a top‑tier university/college in India.
• Strong coding acumen with solid fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and system design at an intern level.
• Hands‑on experience building “vibe coding” or AI‑assisted coding apps and workflows (e.g., using tools like Lovable, Replit, or similar environments).
• Prior exposure to building native mobile applications (Android and/or iOS) using modern frameworks.
• Comfort working in a fast‑paced, ambiguous startup environment and owning end‑to‑end pieces of a problem.
• Clear, concise communication and willingness to proactively ask questions, propose ideas, and give feedback.
• Experience contributing to open‑source projects or personal side projects you can demo.
• Familiarity with financial, fintech, or productivity products, especially those focused on consumer experience.
• Experience working with backend services, APIs, or simple data pipelines.
• Exposure to modern frontend frameworks (React, React Native, Flutter, or similar).
• Interest in consumer AI products, agents, and tooling that make complex decisions simple for end users.
If you’re excited about using AI and modern developer tools to build a product that can meaningfully improve families’ financial lives, we’d love to hear from you.
