The incumbent will be responsible for defining and executing the technical marketing strategy for engineering-led building systems and solutions. The role focuses on positioning complex technical products clearly and credibly in the market, supporting go-to-market initiatives, enabling sales teams, and driving product adoption across B2B customer segments.
This position acts as a critical link between engineering, design & development, and sales teams, ensuring that technical capabilities are translated into strong customer value propositions and differentiated solution narratives.
Role & responsibilities:
1. Go-to-Market Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute go-to-market (GTM) strategies for technical products and integrated building solutions.
- Define product positioning, messaging, and value propositions for key customer segments.
- Support new product launches, solution rollouts, and market entry initiatives.
2. Cross-Functional & International Collaboration
- Work closely with engineering, design & development, and sales teams to align technical accuracy with market needs.
- Act as an interface between technical and commercial teams, ensuring consistency in messaging.
- Coordinate with international partner teams for alignment on product positioning, technical messaging, and GTM strategies
- Enable effective knowledge transfer across regions.
3. Content Creation & Sales Enablement
- Develop technical marketing collateral including datasheets, solution briefs, case studies, presentations, and video content.
- Support sales teams with product presentations, technical specifications, and competitive differentiation tools.
4. Market & Competitive Intelligence
- Conduct market research, customer analysis, and competitive benchmarking.
- Track industry trends, standards, and emerging technologies relevant to building systems and infrastructure.
5. Customer & Industry Engagement
- Engage with customers and industry stakeholders to gather insights and feedback.
- Use insights to refine messaging and support product improvements.
6. Performance Tracking & Optimization
- Monitor marketing performance metrics, campaign effectiveness, and product adoption trends.
- Optimize messaging, content, and GTM strategies based on insights.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
1. Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Industrial, or related discipline).
2. 3+ years of experience in technical/product/solutions marketing within B2B engineering or industrial sectors.
3. Prior exposure to building materials, data center infrastructure, flooring, ceilings, facades, or similar solutions preferred.
4. Strong technical understanding of engineering products and building systems.
5. Ability to translate technical specifications into clear, customer-centric value propositions.
6. Excellent communication, presentation, and cross-functional stakeholder management skills.
7. Analytical mindset with experience in market intelligence, competitive analysis, and familiarity with CRM/marketing automation tools.
