Role Overview

A UI/UX Consultant helps organizations improve digital products (websites, apps, software platforms) by enhancing usability, user experience, and visual design. They analyze user behavior, identify friction points, and recommend design solutions that align business goals with user needs.

Key Responsibilities

· Conduct user research ( surveys, usability testing)

· Analyze user journeys and identify pain points

· Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups

· Develop user personas and journey maps

· Improve information architecture and navigation

· Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders

· Perform usability audits and heuristic evaluations

· Provide strategic UX recommendations

· Ensure consistency with brand and accessibility standards

· Present findings and design solutions to clients

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills:

· Proficiency in design tools such as:

o Figma

o Adobe XD

o Sketch

· Understanding of HTML/CSS basics

· Knowledge of usability principles and UX methodologies

· Experience with prototyping and wireframing

· Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG)

Education & Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Computer Science, or related field (preferred)

· 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design or consulting

· Portfolio showcasing research-driven design projects.
