Job Description: UI/UX Designer Intern
Position Overview:
As a UI/UX Designer Intern, you will work closely with the design team to create intuitive and engaging user experiences for our live project. This internship is an opportunity for you to apply your design skills, learn from, and gain practical experience in a real-world design environment. You will contribute to various stages of the design process, from user research and wireframing to prototyping and user testing.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the design team to understand project requirements and objectives.
Conduct user research to identify user needs, preferences, and pain points.
Create wireframes, user flows, and low-fidelity prototypes to visualize design concepts.
Assist in developing high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes for user testing and feedback.
Collaborate with developers to ensure the feasibility and implementation of design solutions.
Iterate on designs based on user feedback and usability testing results.
Assist in creating and maintaining design guidelines, style guides, and UI pattern libraries.
Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in UI/UX design.
Support the design team in various design-related tasks and projects.
Requirements:
Currently pursuing a degree in designing or a related field.
Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, XD) or Sketch.
Basic understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
Strong visual design skills and attention to detail.
Ability to communicate design ideas effectively and collaborate with team members.
Familiarity with prototyping tools like InVision, Figma, or Axure is a plus.
Knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus but not required.
Portfolio or samples of previous design work demonstrating your skills and creativity.
