UI/UX Designer Senior | Remote
We are seeking a highly experienced UI/UX Designer who can think strategically, communicate clearly, and translate complex product ideas into elegant, intuitive experiences. This role goes beyond visual design. You will actively participate in discovery, documentation, and product shaping.
You must be comfortable listening to product stories and discussions, capturing requirements in writing in real time, and transforming them into clear user flows, wireframes, and polished UI designs. Strong English writing skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Design and lead end to end UI and UX for web and mobile applications.
Participate in product discussions, carefully listen to requirements and context, and document functional and UX requirements during and immediately after meetings.
Convert product stories and business needs into user journeys, flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high fidelity designs. Create clear UX documentation, flow diagrams, and design specifications that developers can easily follow.
Collaborate closely with team, product managers, and developers to refine and implement design solutions.
Build and maintain a scalable design system and component library.
Ensure designs follow usability, accessibility, and user centered design best practices.
Continuously review and improve existing designs based on feedback and data.
Requirements
Five plus years of professional experience as a UI UX Designer with a strong portfolio of web and mobile products.
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Advanced proficiency in Figma preferred, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar tools.
Excellent understanding of UX principles, interaction design, information architecture, and accessibility.
Strong English communication and writing skills.
Proven ability to translate ambiguous ideas into structured designs and documentation.
Experience designing complex, multi role platforms such as admin, staff, and student systems.
Comfortable working in fast moving startup environments.
Experience in EdTech, SaaS, or enterprise platforms.
Experience working closely with development teams and understanding front end constraints.
Familiarity with usability testing and basic user research methods.
Experience creating and maintaining design systems from scratch.
Strong graphic design skills including layout, typography, color theory, and visual branding.
Ability to design marketing visuals, product illustrations, and presentation assets when needed.
