Story Format

“As a [type of user], I want [goal] so that [reason].” Keeps focus on user value.

User stories describe product features from the end-user’s perspective. Written in the format “As a [user], I want [goal] so that [reason]”, they promote customer-centric design and communication between product and engineering teams. Stories focus on what a user wants, not how it’s built.

Each story should include acceptance criteria, and ideally be small, testable, and value-driven.
